The Athens Lady Bulldogs ran their league record to 9-0 with a convincing 63-42 win over the Lady Vikings of Vinton County. Doseck had 14 points, DeBruin 12, Lutz 11, Harris 10, Stanley 8Coshagano 6, and McCollum 2 points. Zinn led the Vikings with 15, Owings had 8, Hale 6, Puckett 5, Allen and Dixon had 3, Remy had 2 points. Stanley had 11 rebounds for Athens and Hale and Remy had 6 for the Vikings. Athens lead 26-22 at halftime, but outscored Vinton 21-8 in the 3rd quarter to blow the game open. Athens has a two game lead with one league game remaing.
