about 5 games per week boys and girls ... lolWest Side Pride wrote:^^^??? Surprising?...Do you watch much ball???
surprising in terms of SEEDS ONLY ... the DII sectionals = ALL THE TOP 4 seeds from each sectional advanced.
In the DIV sectionals = ALL THE TOP 3 SEEDS from each sectional - and two FIVES advanced.
Re: DIVISION III - DISTRICT TOURNAMENT - WAVERLY
Peebles simply is not surprising....they have been playing great and had already split with LC during the season.
PWest is not surprising either.

We can update Peebles record to 16-8 after a win against Lynchburg Clay.

3 of 5 SOC teams still in the mix. The 2 not advancing we're put out by SOC teams. Nice job SOC teams!!!

First year since 2007 that only 1 SHL team is represented.

True, I didn't want to be the one to point that out.93Bulldog wrote:TVC teams = 0
just sayin.
I just mentioned the SHL because they are regularly putting Eastern Brown, Lynchburg Clay, North Adams and Peebles into the districts.

LC squared off against Peebles...MightyOaksFan wrote:First year since 2007 that only 1 SHL team is represented.
Northwest over North Adams was pretty surprising.
Lynchburg Clay losing star play Lanie Lewis just flat out stinks. I've coached against her in XC for 6 years and track for and she is a great talent that always makes you smile....not to mention one of the very ELITE players in D3.....they could of made a pretty good run and IMO beat or play with everyone but Fairland.

Agree or disagree but Peebles is the better team with or without Lewis. They were actually up 6 when she went out. Feel bad for her though. Very nice player and nice kid. Would of liked to seen the game with her playing. Would of definitely been a nailbiter
