I have seen two coaches votes from the Athens D3 sectional.

Ridiculous.

Care to share, I am guessing RV and ?

Voted Belpre 8th and Wellston 5th I heard

I wonder if they realized that the votes would be given to the coaches or if they thought it was anonymous...

Was clearly explained in the packets. At the end of the day, in all the sectionals, not much funky stuff went on.

I agree, but you have to read it to catch that part...

Cannot vote yourself a 1 seed and have record of 8-9 and think other coaches will see voting. I'm sure they feel a little silly. Or maybe they don't.

The stuff that goes on at tournament seeding doesnt even come close to the " you vote my way I'll vote your way" at the post season awards .

Shameful that coaches stoop that low!!

The coach doesn't even have to go to this meeting. They can vote and never attend. Only an administrator needs to be there to turn in tournament forms pick up tickets and such. I'd like to know if the RV coach even went.

Athens78, I bet you more of this will happen again next year, since now the coaches know how this works. Just think about it, why not vote yourself a #1 seed?? Don't give me a guilty conscious! Coaches didn't care when you were sitting in the room to screw you to get a higher seed then they actually deserved. There are no consequences for doing it. I honestly can't see this voting over the computer to last very long.

I also bet, that you will see a couple things like this to happen on the boy's side.

There were times I wasn't really sure why River Valley was voting the way they were back when it was in person either.
