So let's start . Whats everyone's thoughts on this one. Last year the Titans had the Indians # . This years Western team is a much improved defensive team .

Should be good one . In the past the Woods girl also got in foul trouble , he she stays in the game it will sure help western a bunch . But this season ND has a 6 footer of their own , that can run and score some . And we still have pLenty of speed . Been at least 4 years since western has beat Nd .

I think western has had the most talent the last couple of years, but they just don't seem to play good togather. Maybe this is their year! But I think nd takes this one 45-40

Game is at western according to the fall ND sports calendar ?

I am pretty sure the game is at ND, but you could be right.
I know that it has been several years since they have beaten ND, at least early on in the Arnzten (spelling?) girls career, maybe before that. The biggest thing that you'll notice is the defense. They are in very good shape from what Ive seen so far. The Woods girl has been pretty solid with her fouls so far. But a big step up in competition will tell the tale so to speak. If they want to get any respect they have to win a game vs ND or Eastern to even get into the conversation.

I know both of these teams are above average but the first half has been a total stinker -- poor everything . 16-14 at the half , easily more combined TO's than points .

Western shot well in the third , Nd keeps turning it over -- 34-31 western to the 4th

Woods has had a nice game , seems like she has 40 rebounds

43-39 western with 4 to go

Pierron single handed keeping ND close

47-43 western , with ball , 1 min to go

49-45 western final ,

Was really impressed with Western's guard play at the previews and thought they could win SOC1 this year. Notre Dame is always tough ,but this year can be Western's if they stay healthy. I think #11 for ND is Pierron. She is a player..

The guards for Western are really comeing of age . Last years team was young and they went .500 this years team can possibly have a winning record. Just keep working girls the min. you let up or think you have arrived someone will be gunning to knock you down. Stay hungry !! Proud of you .
