I've guessed that Waterford has been marginally the 2nd best D4 team in the district....but figured South Webster and Peebles were right there on them.

Yes. Peebles and N.Adams moving down to d4 really added some much needed talent in the Northwest sectional

Sometimes we only hear the names we listen for. Those names you mentioned have, and continue to, contribute year after year for Waterford athletics. But, most definitely, there are other Wildcats contributing practice after practice, game after game. I invite you to listen and watch and see.

You'd be surprised at how many games I have listened to. My radio dial rarely moves off 100.9. The deep voice fella (sorry, I always forget his name) is probably my favorite radio announcer in southeast Ohio. Heck, I sat and listened to a Warren/Marietta girls game one night just because I like hearing him call a game. lol

I have no doubts at all that you listen, otherwise you wouldn't have know a Paxton from a Porter! LOL

That radio announcer is Chris Wharff btw.

And I think I left out two names ... Pottmeyer and Lang ... lol

I bet if you go back 10 years, there is not one varsity team (boys or girls) that doesn't have at least a Paxton, Porter, Drayer, McCutcheon, Pottmeyer or Lang on it.

Could someone please tell me what newspaper down South Webster way I could find article in for waterford game.

I found an article in the Portsmouth Daily Times. Not sure what paper is local to SW. Maybe the Peoples Defender?
