These teams have battled now for two straight years. Athens won in the districts last year, Jackson got revenge in the regular season this year. Who wins the rubber match next Wednesday night??

Correct ... Athens is 46-4 over the last 2 years ... but are 1-2 versus Jackson.

But that ONE was a biggie.

Yes, it was just a few weeks ago ... Athens was 21-0 when it lost to Jackson in the season finale.

Jackson's size and mis-match ability and the fact they can use what Trace did to Droseck and copy it means a close game until mid third quarter and then Jackson takes over and wins by 12-18 points. Athens would have to shoot a great % from the floor and limit to's to beat Jackson.

Doseck got to the line a lot against Jackson and scored an incredible 17 points over a 4 minute stretch....but Jackson still prevailed. I still say Doseck is going to get hers but we have to limit turnovers, make a few big plays, shoot 70% from the line and MOST importantly avoid any silly fouls and allow the coach to use who he wants to use all 32 minutes of the game. No "I'm tired" fouls. Our rotation beats their rotation IMO....foul trouble hinders all that. Fouls are going to happen....great defense is gonna foul.....but you can't help your team get their #1 goal if you are on the bench. Let the coach determine when you play, not the refs.

Go Ironladies....you got this!

I've seen Jackson 3 times and Athens twice. I think it will be very close game but Athens comes out on top. I don't think Jackson has anyone that can stop her like miami trace did. If wasn't for fouling in the end doseck would have 11 or 12 points. She is a heck of a player. I wish the team that comes out of the southeast all the luck against West Homles. Didn't Jackson scrimmage west Holmes at the beginning of the year. How did they do?

She had about 28 in the first meeting and we still won by 9

LOL ... That counts. Anything can happen in tourney but I think Jackson's post play will be the difference.
