According to Minford's website, all games with Portsmouth West high school and junior high have been cancelled. What doesn't make since is Minford boys traveled yesterday to play Notre Dame and road conditions are the same today.

North Adams @ Fayetteville is postponed- Rescheduled for Monday, February 10th.

As of 10:30 Adena @ Huntington still on.

Western @ Symmes Valley will be played. Only varsity starting at 6:00.

just a guess but since Clay is in school today I'd figure Clat AT ND is on . big game . Get a W Lady Titans. OOP's daughter just got a text saying game postponed which makes zero freaking sense -- we can play a boys game last night with school not in session and today with Clay having school the girls game gets cancelled --- BS ! UGGG seems stupid .

I was wrong about schooI . guess Clay did cancel school today . Hard to believe Ports city isnt in school .

kinda funny that western feels like they can travel to SV safely but Clay cant make from Rosemount to Portsmouth .

My guess would be they don't want there kids and parents traveling Rosemount hill. I know one thing..going to be tough to make up all these games in 3 weeks

Also very suprised this game is still on..that trip is equivalent to some small college road trips!

Girls are always treated different than boys. If you could play boy's game last night why can't girl's play tonight??

I just drive from Portsmouth to lucasville , up duck run rd , out McDermott pond creek , back thru the west side , thru so ports ky to Vanceburg ky and not anything resembles a unsafe road .

Maybe it's not so much the roads, but the really cold weather? Wind chills? But some of these that are being played and others that are not being played make no sense.Like someone else said above, The Minford boys played last night but the Minford girls didn't....And to whoever mentioned Portsmouth City schools...It's not shocking that they are out today, but how fast they were called out...They were called out last evening long before any of the county schools called off.Maybe they have another problem we don't know about?
