Athens vs Eastern (Shriners preview)

I'm usually stoked about the Athens County Shriners Boys Basketball Preview ... but this years prime time match-up (last game) is Athens girls vs Eastern girls.

Two GREAT TEAMS, should be interesting.

Anyone wanting to see some hoops action, the preview starts at 5:00pm (Wed. Nov. 27th) - Athens High School.

Line-up:

5pm - Southern/Wellston
545 - Federal Hocking/Vinton County
630. - Nelsonville-York/ Belpre
715. - Athens boys / Eastern
800. - Athens girls. / Eastern

Previews are exactly that. Chance to look at the new team, additions and subtractions. Don't think to many coaches play to win but should see some nice athletes.

Eastern is loaded and has a good freshman to replace the seniors they lost. They have a real good chance to get back to Columbus. No one can guard Jenna if she wants to take over the game, just ask Newark Catholic.

I know its a preview. But seeing Dominique Doseck square off against Jenna Burdette is worth the price of admission.

Both players are great and fun to watch. Hopefully they guard each other some.

I am a fan of both players and both teams, however, so I hope they end in a 35-35 tie.
