Any thoughts on how strong it will be as a conference this year? I sure hope Waverly can improve but not holding out much hope.

The SOC 2 should be pretty strong again this year. Webster, Minford, Northwest and Burg would probably be my favorites to win it, but honestly it's wide open in my opinion.
I won't predict wins and losses for Waverly as most teams return the majority of their key players. Lot's of seniors this year. But I do look for the Tigers to be more competitive and just might surprise some people. They return nearly everyone and add a real nice freshman. Definitely headed in the right direction.

She's varsity only. Played with them all summer. I don't know the schedule yet but they should be out soon if not already. I was looking for one the other day at the bank but they still had the fall schedules out. haha
Hopefully the success on the volleyball court will carry over to the hardwood.

What position does she play? They sorely need a post player.

I hope waverly begins to become competitive again this year. Don't think their is any one in soc 2 they can beat. Hopefully will be competitive with out of conference schedule. Will be better after this year.

Notre Dame won all varsity quarters. Waverly was competitive.

Actually, Waverly varsity won two quarters, lost two quarters and tied one. Waverly played better as the scrimmage progressed. Notre Dame had some nice players. I'm optimistic both teams will be competitive this year.

In the first two quarters, Waverly played some tough defense and some effective offense. Their coach seems to have prepared them. This is the best I have seen Waverly for a while.
