Just going by scores, this seems like Waterford's strongest team yet. I would be surprised if they don't advance.

Could be a running clock in 4th quarter

Easy game for Waterford, be hard to stop them this year

I look for Waterford by about 20 to 30.
Some comparable scores I looked at.

Fairfield beat rosecrans by 16, and 25.
Fort Frye beat rosecrans by 16.
Waterford beat Fort frye by 37, and 30.

Fairfield lost to Morgan by 17.
Morgan lost to Warren by 7
Waterford beat Warren by 11

Of course anything can happen on any given day, but my money's on Waterford to return to the Schottenstein Center

wildcats win this one going away. I think FC will keep it close through two quarters but the defense will dominate. FC is not disciplined enough on defense to stop the Lady Cats.

At this stage in the game all teams are good. I expect Waterford to win but doubt that it will be by the 30+ that some are predicting. FC has strong guard play and a solid post player and Waterford will need to shoot the ball better than they did against Notre Dame. Plus, FC has already played a game at Pickerington North in the regional semi and this is Waterford's only game there (which is something I've never quite understood). Point being that FC may be a little more comfortable at the outset. I will take Waterford by 15.

I agree Shoot- It-From-Deep , had a poor shooting game Thursday nite or score would have even been a bigger margin . They should be ready and hyped, a lot of over hype on last game, they’re experience, speed, pressure, and just hard nosed players will see them thru.The Cats I think will see a more competitive game but in the end will prevail and move on to Columbus Schott.

The Cats are the Class of Div 4 this year, just a few minor speed bumps along the way, but there court savy in Div 4 is bar none the best I’ve seen. They are a class group of lady’s that play hard and are a couple notches ahead of teams they have played and in the end will be rewarded I think in the Schott, the class of the Southern part of Ohio girls basketball. Columbus next week. Good Luck Waterford!

Waterford wins 47-42. Good ballgame. Fairfield played well.

Waterford's biggest lead was 7 points. Coach Close said post game that FCA's quickness surprised them and disrupted their offense some. Neither team shot well at all. This may have been the test that the lady wildcats needed going into the Schott next week. Here is what is scary. From what they said on the radio, FCA has everyone back next year.
