Should be a very good ballgame. I won't be surprised if either team wins, I would probably give a slight edge to Alexander.

Alexander was 12-15 from the line (Grinstead 2 -2 with 7.8 in regulation to tie it at 41.
At 45-44 with .16 in OT Grinstead hit the first of 2 FT’s to make it a 2 point lead. Grinstead had to subbed out due to blood on her uniform. The second FT was missed but then Richardson hot both FT’s with .12 to play for the final.

Thanks smurray for the updates and the Stats. Looks as if Minford had shot there foul shots a little better, they may have come away with the win.

Great ballgame! Either team could have won. Difference in the game was the free throw line. Alexander converted and Minford struggled. Two excellent teams that gave everything they had. Both deserved to be there and both teams deserved to win. Congratulations to two excellent programs.

One note: Was very impressed with the fact that in such a big game and big situation Alexander had three freshman on the court almost the entire game. Future is bright in Albany!

Not a big deal, but Alexander is located in Albany, Ohio, about 10 mile south of Athens, Ohio. New Albany up north in the Columbus area.
