Waverly 53 Jackson 38 Sectional Championship

The Tigers pulled away in the 4th to claim their first Sectional Championship in 21 years.
The floor general, Zoiee Smith, returned to the Tigers lineup after missing 3 weeks with the ankle injury she sustained at Valley.
Senior Paige Carter had a monstrous second half, leading the Tigers with 23 points and her 1,000th career point, joining Smith in the 1,000 club.
Not sure if Waverly girls have ever had two 1,000 point scorers in the same year.
The lady Tigers will enjoy this one before most likely heading to Vinton County for a District Semi-Final matchup.
