Wow. The one girl who got Player of the Year for the TVC Ohio, was the one not many people mentioned on here.

True, obviously. Shocked though, the TVC Champions didn't get the Player of the Year or outright Coach of the Year.
Awards don't tell the whole story, but they do tell A story.

Grinstead is a quality player.. I’m very surprised As far as coach of the year who cares it’s about the kids!!! With all Vinton county expected those girls don’t need coaches just a bus driver to the games !!Go Tvc!!!

Congratulations to ALL who are recognized. They are deserving of this recognition as they have all worked very hard to get better and to help their teams be successful.
To the seniors on the list: Thank You for all you have done over the past four years to elevate girls basketball. You have made your school, your community, and your team and coaches Very Proud!

What a great group of players-- they will be missed--- but I have to go with a VC girl and coach-- no one thought they would be this good after Bentley left

For once the coaches got it right!!! Grinstead was most important player to her team. She scored 38 in a 48-36 win over RIver Valley that the Meeks girl didn’t play and score 36 in a loss to Meigs when the Meeks girl was in foul trouble most the game. She does things like this while getting dbl and triple teamed every game. The comment about you saying that no one thought Vinton would be this good is crazy!!! Vinton started all Seniors that will get a 4th year pin for varsity basketball. They have been the best team of Seniors but I’m glad to see the coaches got it right for POY-Ohio.
