SG first took the lead 39-38 just about the halfway point of the 4th qtr, then Waterford took it back 42-39. Morgan Lyons tied it at 43 on 2 FTs and Waterford took time out with the ball at 2:34 left. Waterford worked the ball for quite a while and turned it over on an illegal screen. Emma Clary hit a 3 to put SG up 46-43.

This was a fantastic game! Both teams left it on the floor. I’m glad I had the privilege to call this one.

Yes, I was dead wrong. I didn’t think Waterford would get a decent lead and then give it up…I think formerfcfan jinxed them lol. Waterford showed a little trouble with pressure with Whiteoak even though it was lopsided. Great win for South Gallia! Best of luck the rest of the way

I figured the 12 point lead was too much. Waterford doesn’t give away possessions. They didn’t handle the pressure and that was the story.
