I believe the top 3 seeds get to chose when bracket they want to be- Portsmouth can determine is the want to be Southeast 1 Bracket, Southeast 2 Bracket or Southeast 3 bracket. The bracket itself will not change as above but the placement to what the top 3 seeds choose to be. So Portsmouth could choose to be Southeast 3 bracket and go to the Lakota East Regional instead of Logan Regional.

Yes. They will choose, #1 first choice & #2 seed next, the designation of Southeast 1 , 2 or 3 only setting the Regional Semi-Finals match up.

I would assume the 1 & 2 seeds will choose different regions.

The auto bracketing is probably the fairest way to do this, but I miss the madness of the bracket reveal especially if something was suspicious as far as the voting went.

The 1 seed on Fairland’s side that they would likely face is Williamsburg.

They are 19-2, but I feel like they haven’t played near the schedule as the Dragons.

Portsmouth gets the SVC Invitational to get out of the district and even though the SVC is fairly balanced beyond Unioto, none of the teams in their district will likely be able to get within 25-30 of the Trojans this season.

I'd vote for teams being placed on the bracket as the East does. RPI determines the order in which the teams select their location on the bracket. 1 seed gets first choice and so on.

I probably should’ve said “that our district would do” because even though these other districts can pick their own path as you said, the SE can’t let something as wild as that happen around here.

Well…at least we won’t have any 10-12 teams beating a 6-16 team to cut down sectional nets

SW1 top seed is #2 Madeira
SW2 top seed is #1 Waynesville
SW3 isn't seeded on OHSAA, but I am assuming the top seed is Versailles.

I'm not super familiar with the teams in the SW region aside from Versailles. The Tigers and the Dragons met in the Final 4 a few years back.
