No 1 Portsmouth is a solid ,great team. Ill go with the Trojans here, Ill say 15-30 point win for Trojans. Quickness and speed is on another level. Div 1 prospects thru team, solid Coaching and the strength of schedule will show in this game. Go Lady Trojans.

I believe Portsmouth handles the Falcons in this one, Congrats to both teams on outstanding seasons

This certainly will be an intense battle, with 2 Scioto County teams vying for a Final 4 berth. Minford has to be able to handle Portsmouth's quickness, which has been the difference in so many Lady Trojans games this season. PHS must stay out of foul trouble. I anticipate a big crowd with the Saturday 4 PM tip.
PHS will be trying to be only the 2nd basketball team in PHS boys or girls history to go back to back Final 4's. The 2011 and 2012 boys were the first to accomplish the feat. The Portsmouth boys made the state in 1925, 1926, and 1927, but only 1927 was a Final 4 appearance.
Also 1 more win by the Lady Trojans will make them the 2nd winningest team (25 wins) in PHS basketball history, topped only by the 1988 D2 boys state champions, who posted a 27-1 record.
