Fairly routine outing for Athens. Controlling the ball better and better with each match, still learning how to score. The veteran defense is a rock hard foundation. Big week upcoming with Alexander, Belpre and, I believe, Warren. 2-0-2 going into this stretch is OK but could have been better.

None of these games are to be taken as automatic by any stretch of the imagination. Alexander is Alexander, Belpre seems to be improving and Warren is always tough. If the young players in the midfield continue to improve and a scoring threat emerges, could be a nice run.

Big Sam Miner is having himself a nice year in the middle and Jackson Lavelle looked awfully smooth back in the midfield on the right side. Along with the younger guys, they are really learning patience.
