I agree with Etta...Marietta by 2 (3-1)...they are looking good at the right time.

Don't know if anyone realized but the Lucasville District Semis are exactly the same as last year...Marietta won 1-0 and Chilli beat Fairfield Union 2-1. I thinking there will be a rematch in the finals.

Just shows the SEOAL dominance in soccer. But I'd say Marietta by at least two. But at this stage its not as easy even if you are the better team because everybody is going all out, nobody wants their season to end yet.

Zane Trace has now made the districts 2 years in a row after making the jump to D2, that is a nice accomplishment.

Marietta has made the districts at Lucasville 4 consecutive years after dropping to D2. They would be looking for their 3rd title in the last 4 years. (Athens won it in 2008)

Chillicothe has now made the districts 6 consecutive years after dropping to D2. They have lost in the semi's twice and the finals 3 times.

It would look as if Marietta is the favorite to not only win this game, but to win districts again. The have a solid defense and a potent offense. Anything can happen, but it looks as if they'll be hard to stop.

Congrats to Marietta. Solid team nice to have momentum with these convincing wins as the games get tougher. Any news on the second game of the night yet?

Would everyone agree that even though we won that it was the worst and laziest refing job I have seen in a lot of years watching soccer.

I don't think he got any further then the 35 or 40 yard line.
