Anyone know how some of the teams in the SEOAL are looking this year?

Who's left in the SEOAL still? I know the annual favorites Marietta are gone... when's Chillicothe leaving?

So this leaves Chillicothe, Warren, Logan, Jackson, and Gallipolis? If that's the case, Chillicothe and Warren will battle it out for first place. Warren has the most talent (we'll see how a new coach uses this talent), but Chillicothe has played better in the bigger games compared to Warren making a great run to districts, but is a little thinner in the younger ranks compared to Warren if Warren plays to their potential. Should be a good race between two good programs. The other teams look to battle out for third through fifth place. Logan is decent, Gallia has improved some over the years, and Jackson has struggled. Should be interesting see how some of those teams rebound from last year.

It's a shame the old school SEOAL fell apart. Seeing a SEOAL race without Marietta and Athens in it is something I thought I'd never see.

It was strange enough to see an SEOAL soccer title decided without Athens in the picture, and now with Marietta moving to the ECOL, the SEOAL just does not seem like the SEOAL. I may be wrong, but I would say that Athens and Marietta have won the most SEOAL titles. What kind of competition will Marietta face in the ECOL? Are they still going to compete in the SE District, it looks like all of the teams in the ECOL are in the east district.

The district you play in has nothing to do with the league you are associated with. Marietta may be able to use it as a negotiation tool with the OHSAA though.
