Burg @ Minford
This could be your SOC Game of the week with it being on burgfan.com and everything...Can Minford ride the tide of an undefeated season or will the pressure seam to much and it all come crashing down on Tuesday night...Can the Thurmer boys head into Falconville and bring back the glory of the early days of pirate soccer where SOC Championships came left and right???
Re: Burg @ Minford
This is a battle to see who will remain the last undefeated team in the area. Minford has a big advantage in experience, with a host of seniors, but Burg has been playing everyone tough and has a lot of speed on the front line and are a threat to score at any time. Piquet has been slowed lately with a hip injury, but he is extremely tough and the Falcons rely on him to the be main scoring threat. This should be a great game in Muletown tomorrow!

I don't see Minford losing this game. I've spoke to a few players and they have been waiting for this game to happen. I'll agree with the 2-0 prediction. But the Falcons could put up 4 if the burg defense doesn't come ready to play all 80 minutes.

Minford 6-0 in a blowout and bowl gets a red card for running after Shane price for scoring his 5th goal!!!!

Re: Burg @ Minford
pace of play too much for falcons. challenged to play 80 minutes. deep bench for pirates a big help. tough "own goal" for falcons. thurmer speed and strength puts a lot of pressure on back lines. he makes you pay for errors. unbeatens now stand at one.

Wow what a game! Thurmer was feeling it tongiht. I think Minford thought they had the game on ice before the first whistle. Congrats to our Pirates on the win. Keep up the streak!
Re: Burg @ Minford
falcons may have peaked too early. short bench had players that were hurt not leaving the field. tough week for them. think they have tigers later this week. can they bounce back? youth of pirates gain a little more experience each game. turf at home give pirates edge against mohawks.

I usually don't care for the Burg winning but I was glad to see the Falcons get knocked off. Enjoy it while you can Pirates, your loss is coming soon.
Re: Burg @ Minford
not too specific jazzhands. would you be insinuating the jeeps will deliver the loss? not sure it can happen at burg. jeeps want the win but unsure if the can win the win.

Wow, I predicted a Minford win and was dead wrong. Great road victory for Burg and their young squad.
