The Rematch (Minford @ South Webster)

Minford pretty much took it to Webster last game and there was nothing in Webster's repertoire that could stop them....The falcons were flying fast and Webster looked like they were stuck in cement. Although the Jeeps where without there head chief that game and the assistants might not of had a clue on how to counter the Falcons attack. So, this could be a whole new ball game at Webster. Rumors are out that Mr. Hat-Trick is out with an injury and can minford find someone to step into his place and score goals. Plus, the Jeeps are coming off an impressive win @ Alexander. So we will see.....

Even with their key striker out Minford is still too much for the Jeeps. I call Falcons 3-1.

I too think Minford is still to much for the Jeeps. Too much speed, strength, stamina, and senior leadership on the Falcons side. I look for a 3-1 victory also with the Jeeps getting a late 2nd half goal.

I expect this to be a close game that could go either way. SW has changed their defense away from the flat 4 which got them in trouble at Minford. If Minford is without their leading scorer, it could come down to the wire.

This game along with the New Boston @ Northwest games should be the top 2 in the area tonight

I think Shane Price graduated a few years ago D4... If not then I must be on something. What I'm trying to say is that if Eli Parkes suits up tonight then I'm checking myself into the nut house asap... With or without Parkes on the pitch tonight the Falcons will have little trouble beating a young, but scrappy jeep squad. I look for a physical match and i will definitely be charging up the palm pilot for this one. Stats will be provided after this one! Hope the storm holds off.

Sloppy field....SW with a freshman keeper and Minford with a first year keeper. This has the making of a high scoring game too. I am not sure if SW can generate enough shots to keep up.

The only thing sloppy going down tonight will be SW's so-called "Flat Back" defense... No leadership on that back line to know when to yell things such as "PULL" to get the offside trap really working nicely. They should make it out to a Glenwood game and see how its done. In the mean time SW gets beat down tonight by a bigger, faster, stronger Falcon team. Minford gave SW the proverbial "choke out" on opening night as they made the jeeps tap out.... and I have a feeling it could be even worse tonight. I wouldn't even show up for this one if someone bought me a chili dog and a poncho. Good riddins to the jeep faithful. Let me know how 2nd in the SOC tastes and suck on that for a while.

Mamaw all ways said win with class or your an a$$. I saw minfords players waving the mutubo finger after trucking a player and waving at the ball after a horrible clearance. And numerous times telling the ref how to do their job. Man I don't mind a good tough game, but save the antics for the clowns. I know I don't want my kids to act that way. So, I don't know why they would want theirs.

Terrible game. Minford looked bad, Jeeps looked even worse, and the Refs... well lets just say you can't get any worse than that. Very poor and inconsistent against both teams which explains why they ran to their cars afterward. The game was a waste of 4 bucks if you ask me. On a lighter note, the pizza was very good. Perry's Pizza Barn did something right last night. Well done.
