2nd Annual EP7 Futsal Tournament

The 2nd Annual EP7 Memorial Futsal Tournament will be January 20 at SSU and January 21 at the Portsmouth Schools Gym Annex. Teams from U10 through adult. Cost is $300 per team and includes a t-shirt in registered by January 7th. First place teams receive trophies and second place teams receive medals. Spectator admission is $3. All proceeds benefit the EP7 Youth Outreach which helps support grieving families during a crisis. For more information, call 740-285-2547.

Even if you do not have a team playing in the tournament, please come out and watch some games this weekend. Games start at 8:30 both days with the U12, U14 and HS Girls playing at SSU and the HS Boys and Adults at the old Portsmouth gym. There are 25 total teams playing, with teams coming from Cincinnati and Huntington WV. It should be a great weekend of futsal.

The tournament went very well. Attendance was good and games stayed on schedule for both days. The group champs were:
12U - XFC
14U - VK Eastern Elite
HS Boys - Underachievers
HS Girls - FCFC
Adult - Hackworth
