That’s 3 different games Unioto has lost 1-0 now on the year. Still a very good defensive club, but struggling to score against the really good teams on their schedule.
Gotta agree. No way a HS team would begin to have that many shots let alone saves. So it is funny. Not sure what they are thinking or who they can be fooling.

That being said, when you have that kind of discrepancy between league teams and outside teams to fill a schedule the "shot count" skyrockets. While some coaches deem anything a keeper touches as a save, that doesn't help the numbers. I challenge each of you to go watch one of these ZERO win teams and see how many "Shots" the keepers do actually make.
This is true that we have some teams that are at the bottom and play games vs teams "at the top", however we are talking about an average of 20+ saves a game. The quality of teams they are playing dont have players who are just sitting there peppering the net the entire game. These numbers are like you said, every time they touch the ball.
