What are talking about Buckeye, didn't you read above that SW would beat them by as much as they wanted. I guess they only wanted to win by 6. They gave up those two goals out of pity.

New Boston came out playing hard and SW was down 1-0 before they knew what happened. SW stepped it up and answered with 4 straight goals. The PK right before the half kept New Boston in the game for the beginning of the 2nd half. The 2nd half things seemed back to normal for the SW defense.

If New Boston will play the way they did the first 20 min of this game, they could surprise some teams in the tournament.

Congrats Jeeps for going undefeated in the conference!

AV, not that I care what you think, but I think many of us get tired of the "they will win by as many as they want" quotes. I respect their team, just don't care for the arrogance of their backers on this site. As I have said before "Act like you have been there".

This thread is about New Boston and SW, to those who think I am only reading the SW threads. Show me where I bad mouthed them and I will apologise. I said "I guess they only wanted to beat them by 6 points" and "gave up two pity goals" to poke some fun at Swanker Pine (who is the one stirring up the pot, even SW posters have said don't judge the team by him, and I don't). Moose, what did I say that you didn't reiterate in your post above "Easy there hawgy... displaying such information as a "touch limit" is kind of a slap in the face, cant we just put that game to rest? webster was the better team, period... webster is a great team, but i also agree there has to be some dignity and class... as said above, act like you've been there before! "

This post was showing no class! The Glenwood Tigers will always play hard.........and to question the real score. Do you know that South Webster has 3 times the enrollment that New Boston does? Please give the Tigers some credit!

S. Pine. I just figure you are a kid on the SW team or brother or sister of one of the players. How about from now on.. just leave the arrogance out of it. It makes others not like SW because of the cocky statements put on this site.
With that said, I think it will be hard to choose the best players in the SOC 1 this year. There are many contenders from all schools.

Actually SP, we just want you to act like an adult. Your just an embarrasment to a great program. To your logic, if you can follow your own logic, Claxon wanted the score to be 1 -1 with New Boston at the half. Grow up son, no one is crying here, just trying to talk a little soccer (which is hard enough to do in the land of "it's just kickball")

It is difficult to defend Swanker Pine, but I will give it a shot.

First of all, he is a high school student.

Secondly, I was reading the football board yesterday and saw many posters type things such as "by as many as they want" and "blowout" and "this one will get ugly in a hurry"........ I then went back to the soccer board and saw that Swanker was one of the few who used this "football" mentality. Just saying.......

Truth is the score was 4-2 at the half and Webster did cruise to an 8-2 victory. Truth is that Webster has named their score in 8 games this year only playing the starters half the time. Truth is they have used touch limits and such several times---it has made them better! Do we all have to use "Coachspeak" on here? I also would think that he likes "stirring the pot" and arguing with you all.......

By the way, if South Webster ever received multiple cards in a game, then I KNOW there would be several posters bashing them for their arrogance or swagger. South Webster received 0 cards in this game, but there were 3 reds (2 from double yellows, 1 straight) and several other (I am thinking 3-4) yellow cards given out to the home team. I was thrilled when the game was over and our boys walked off of the field without injuries.
