With the last few games remaining, NW 1, Burg 3, Minford 2, Waverly 3, West 3. If, NW beats Burg, NW wins the SOC2 Title. If Burg wins out they would win SOC2 Title. Minford would need help to win (Burg win vs NW, and Burg Loss to Waverly). Waverly needs to win out and get help (Burg over NW and West over Burg).

The league has been great for us spectators. No clear favorite in any match. I think the winner Tuesday will win the league, but there are several ways this could shake out. Still 4 teams mathematically can win the gold ball. I’d expect a big crowd out in McDermott on Tuesday night.

With a 4-4 tie with Waverly tonight, I believe Wheelersburg just needs a win against West to win the league.

If Minford wins out will Burg and Minford share the title?

Burg is 4-1-2 and with a win over West would end with 17 points at 5-1-2. Minford is 3-2-1, if they win out they would end up with 16 points at 5-2-1. Wheelersburg would win the title outright. It has been an interesting year for the SOC. If West would upset Wheelersburg and Minford wins out, I believe the champs would be the Falcons! Good Luck to both the Falcons and Pirates!

It was a fun year in SOC 2 and I look for next year to be just as exciting with the addition of South Webster. Congratulations to Wheelersburg Boys and Girls soccer teams. 4th, I believe by the end of football season they'll be football champs as well. Great start to the year for the class of 2019.
