Great season Jeeps! You have nothing to hang your heads about. Seniors, you will be greatly missed. Never forget, Once a Jeep, always a Jeep. Jeep fans, get pumped for basketball season. That team is going to do great things like the soccer team did! GO JEEPS!

With about 15 minutes left, hand ball called on Berlin Hiland right outside of the box...Connor Scott had the advantage and buried it, but ref had already blown the whistle when he should've let the play continue. Tough call to make, and just unfortunate for the Jeeps. They had alot of other chances but couldn't put it in the net. Gotta give credit to Berlin Hiland though, pretty solid team. Great season for the Jeeps regardless.*

This was a tough one to lose. Hiland's goal came from a routine ball that was chipped to the keeper & mishandled. Hiland was there to put it in. SW keeper has nothing to hang his head about - he made a big save later in the night to keep the jeeps in the game & he did a nice job all year for the Jeeps.
The goal taken back was frustrating too. Usually a penalty in front of the box is a good thing, but the advantage in this situation would have obviously been better. The official was too quick with the whistle (but hind site is 20/20).
This was the most intense game of the season for the Jeeps & they battled hard until the end. We had the shots on goal count 7-2 favoring the Jeeps. Hiland's keeper made some good saves late in the game. This was the first time the Jeeps have been shutout. When your first loss is your final loss - you've had a good season.
As some of you have said, the boys have nothing to hang their heads about. I believe this is the best team we have ever had at South Webster. These guys have really advanced the level of play and have set a new standard for soccer in the area. I'm proud of them. I hope the seniors take their experiences and lessons learned and apply them to the good things in life. May God bless them.
The Jeeps will suffer a great loss with 8 seniors, but the program must go on. It will be interesting to see the younger players take on leadership roles next year. They have potential - we'll have to wait and see what happens.
