I don't think it's such a given for Burg to be the SOC champs. It'll be a tight race between Burg, Waverly, and Minford. Whoever has the most new players step up will be the SOC champion. Personally I think it will be Waverly, but I'd love to see Minford win the league.

Waverly isn't going to win the league because they are to young. But I do think that they will be very good next year and years to come. I honestly don't think that Minford will even be a threat. Everyone says that every year and they always mess it up, they will most likely do the same this year. I think Burg is really going to surprise everyone and will come out on top.

Waverly may be young but they've got just as much experience as most kids playing in the league right now. These kids have been playing club ball and indoor for years. I know many of the players on other SOC teams have been playing for club teams and indoor soccer, but these Waverly kids have done a lot of traveling. It'll be a fun season, and I think it'll be a season where no team goes undefeated in SOC play.

Minford not a threat??How is this when they went farther in tourneys last year thatn burg did??and i take it that soccerdude goes to burg or is affiliated with burg one way or another because hes jus like the rest of em.No matter what sport, they're always thinkin they're the best and better than everyone.But this is not the case because they're no better than anybody.

Calm down guys...Everyone is going to choose their own school to win the SOC II, it is just human nature!
I feel the team that has the most underclassmen step up will have the best shot at the title...So based on what I have seen the past couple of years, I am going with:
1st = Waverly
2nd = Burg
3rd = Minford

Anyway, I didn't mean they wouldn't be a threat but before every season everyone always talks about Minford being the number one team. Look at the past few year, when was their last SOC title??

finally pulling myself on here to finish what I started. I gave my predictions for the SOC II. now time for SOC I.

SOC I

It seems to me like each school graduated alot of seniors...New Boston graduating alot of seniors (Bowling, Saulsburry, Mcnutt, Holbrook, Russel.I know Im forgetting alot...sorry) similar to clay in the way they lose seniors...this team was dominated by seniors. started with them, ended with them.

Valley- Not sure who or if they are losing anybody...Coach Graf does a nice job with his kids in my opinion, they definitly underachieved last year. I look for good things out of this program as it seems to be building each year.

Clay- lost the team in my opinion. (Robinson, Parker, Kirkpatrick, Gable...and others) They had a senior core that seemed to do everything in my opinion...It started on D with Gable and Kirkpatrick, Robinson in the Mid-field, and then Parker scored the goals. I look for a downfall at Clay for a few years. Im also hearing they are without a coach as of right now.

and then the South Webster Jeeps...they will once again dominate, although we have heard rumors of a very talented player leaving for the Burg, I still think South Webster will dominate the confrence once again.

I look for a rebuilding year in the SOC I, and a reloading year in SOC II, if I had to guess Clay and New Boston will struggle severley without last years seniors carrying the team, look for valley to improve, and SW to sweep the SOC I

1. South Webster
2. Valley
3. New Boston
4. Clay

But doesn't everyone say that about every team before every season?People either say that the team is going to do well, or they arent going to do very much at all.No one tends to talk about a team just being mediocre.I mean take burg for example.They had a good seaon, but everyone jus automatically thinks that they're gonna win it all year after year.Sometimes this isnt the case though.They talk themselves up more than any other school around.

Why does everyone think that Wheelersburg thinks that. Just to let you know I don't go to burg but I honestly think that their going to have the best team in the SOC based on what ive seen the past few years. I very excited to see what is going to happen this year.

Let's talk about some players...Who, in your opinion, are the best players at each position in the SOC II? Who will be Player of the Year? Who will be Freshmen of the Year?
This should open up a can of worms... :122249
