Peebles 2 - Zane Trace 1 - Excellent soccer game. Two very good teams.
Eastern Brown 0 - Fayetteville 3 Multiple shots on goal by both teams but Fayetteville really controlled the better part of the game.

Unioto is now 8-0, with 38 Goals scored to 5 allowed.
Athens drops to 1-5-1 with their 4th 1-0 loss. They've scored 9 times this year, but have only given up 10. If they can find some offense to go with their excellent D, they could very dangerous in the 2nd half of the year.

Unioto is a very athletic, experienced team. I wouldn't be surprised to see them end up as the #1 seed going into sectionals. Lots of weapons up top.
I'm proud of Athens. We play our hearts out and give everything we've got. It took a perfect all-star type of a shot from long distance for Unioto to break the dead-lock. Nothing for Athens to be ashamed of. With such a young team (no excuses though) the boys just need to keep their heads up and keep the faith that some of these games will start going our way as we gain experience. Great game by both teams. Hard fought and exciting to watch.

Beaver Eastern falls to Alexander on Saturday 15th 9-0; Tuesday 11th Beaver Eastern falls to New Boston 5-2 in a poorly refed game.

Missing one was by Galloway! Piketon's goals were by goalie error in the first half and then one slipped through on a breakaway through JV defense.Outfield4Life wrote:West: 10
