Barboursville, WV is the host of the Region 1 Championships next summer and another great opportunity for local players to play against some of the best talent in the nation. I could not get the link to come up but I can tell you the U14 (birthday before 8/94) girls team is the best club team in the tri-state. This WVSC Rowdies team out of Huntington finished 3rd at the Regionals in Maine two years ago and is the 4 time WV state champion. The tryout for this team is Nov 16th at the Hurricane WV Wave Pool Park, just off I64 between Huntington and Charleston. The tryout comes along with 2 hours of free training by former Marshall University standout and coach Wayne Bennett. Registration is 2:45 pm rain or shine. This team will play top competition in front of hundreds of college coaches in the next few years, come join the team it's closer than Columbus for many in southern Ohio that want to play club ball.
