Saw pics of the new PHS Stadium and they have soccer lines down. Is PHS getting a team again?

would like to think so but may be a cost issue. go ahead and put in the lines just in case. stadium is looking good.

if they are having a team this upcoming year then everyone should already know by now.....but it also seems ridiculous that they would put the lines down "just in case".....if they are putting the lines in then why not try to push it for this season, they can play weak teams and jv teams

That's a big plus for SSU soccer and baseball.
The new PHS facilities look fantastic.
Would like to see PHS bring back soccer sometime.

It's rather ridiculous that Portsmouth doesn't have soccer. Because it's co-ed in Ohio makes it an even better option.
It would be really nice to see them put a squad together. Who is AD @ Portsmouth currently?

Anyone have a picture or actual link to see the soccer lines. Maybe I am not looking at the right pictures.

Portsmouth Daily Times Report
Not enough to do a full story on but I made a couple calls to SSU. Their AD and assistant girls soccer coach both deny that SSU has any plans to use the new facility.

ssu not using the facilities at portsmouth is silly. great way to get the best use out of such great venues.
