Athens probably played well enough to win and led with 17 seconds left in the match. But you know those teams that are good at running their motors at a higher level at the beginning and end of each half? Well that was Marietta tonight. They scored at the very beginning of the first half and the very end of the second half.

Other times, Athens played OK and often controlled the flow of play. All said, both teams competed well and will probably both have their share of success this year.
