Tough call here......mild lightning in the area. Thunder could be heard. After a few delays the second half of the JV match was postponed.

After a couple more delays the earliest game start time for the Varsity was looking like 7:40-7:45, with no other delays.

The radar did not look promising and Marietta would have been looking at getting home close to midnight on a school night.

Both coaches, in conjunction with the officials decided it would be best to reschedule. A date needs to be worked out, although there are not too many dates available that works for both teams.

Anybody know why Chilly doesn't play the varsity game first. The lights on that field are terrible. They should play the varsity game during daylight hours whenever possible.

Played and watched many games there and never noticed the lights being terrible. They would not have been able to hold multiple regional level games there(at night) if it was not a well lit field.

Lights are a little low, and some of the poles could use a few more lights, but they do the job.

Yes, the facility could use an upgrade on the lights (and other things) but I wouldn't say the lighting is terrible.

Plans are on the drawing board for a major face lift for the facility as far as lights, locker rooms, concessions, bathrooms, and the field itself........, but getting them off the drawing board and into motion is another thing.
