New Boston vs. Wheelersburg

New Boston will be visiting Wheelersburg on Wednesday.
Burg won easily in their first match this year. I look for the same in this game.

I think this one will be a matter of what Wheelersburg team shows up to play. The last time they played New Boston they played very well and took the game easily. I've also seen games where they have played absolutely horrible. Either way I think Burg will pull off a "W", but I'd like to see some good quality soccer from them again.

burg will get the W. but it could be a nicely played game, or an ugly one. as was stated earlier...depends on which burg team shows up to play.

This is the exact same situation from last year; New Boston playing at Burg for the Sectional Title. Last year Burg had beaten New Boston pretty easily at their home field but the Tigers came ready to play tournament time. Last year they had a 2-0 lead at the half but just ran out of fuel and lost 4-2. This is almost the same situation with Burg winning the contest earlier in the season 9-0. But I think the Tigers will come ready to play and they can make the game very interesting. We will just see on Wednesday!

burg has a bad problem of showing up for certain games. but i think they know that new boston will give them a good game and that they will take advantage of every oppoptunity. could be interesting depending on which burg team shows up. i'm willing to bet that it's going to be a hard-fought, physical game. looking forward to it. good luck to both teams...Go Burg!!!!

new boston plays pretty well and plays hard. they have a hard time because of lack of subs. it is tough to play 80 mins and be effective the entire time. should be a hard fought game.

This game may turn out to be closer than many think. Last year New Boston gave Burg' a run for their money but fell short. Burg' is an outstanding team with a lot of talent. But New Boston has talent as well. I'm looking foward to watching both teams battle hard for a complete 80 minutes.

Great game tonight by the Pirates. The Tigers held it close for a while, but ran out of gas early in the 2nd half and Burg just poured it on.

okay game by burg. they are better than what they showed in either half tonight. the scoreline is not indicative of how the game was played. with that said, the burg does have a tendency to play to the level of their opponents. now it's time for the big game at south webster. looking forward to this one! good luck and go burg!

Have to say well done to the players and coaching staff for the Tigers. They held in there for 80 minutes and never gave up. Coaches did a great job with the conditioning of this team to perform with such minimal subs.

i'll agree sports_tracker...it's hard to play all out for 80 minutes, and with only 4 subs. they gave it all they had...that's for sure.

nice run for new boston. more subs could have made the game problematic for burg. they played nice first half. great hustle for the ball. hope this type of play encourages more to come and play. keep up the good work.
