I believe that South Webster can win this one. They have shown great resiliency late in the season----trailing Alexander late, trailing Burg twice and finally with that great response in the closing minutes vs. Minford.

This team genuinely seems to like each other and hopefully this will lead them through to play again on Saturday.

This is only the second South Webster team to make the regionals and hopefully it will be the first one to reach the Regional Finals.

First of all, I didn't say that South Webster will win, I said they can win.

Second, I understand that is heresy to pick little ole South Webster High to win against vaunted Berlin Hiland. You are right Berlin Hiland usually does win this game, although Minford beat them last year in the Regional Semis. They usually win the Regional Semi and get beat in the Regional Finals like 07 or 06.

I simply believe that Webster can win this game. They are having a special season---going undefeated in the SOC (which I believe had never been done by an SOC 1 team)----winning 18 games (breaking the school record of 16 which had been twice before).

So, please excuse me when I say South Webster can win this game. This seems to be a year in which they come through when doubted. After all, most people on here picked Minford to beat them in the district finals even though Webster had won previously at Minford.

As a Hiland person, it's pretty funny to see Hiland described like that. South Webster is actually a bigger school, and as for vaunted, South Webster was the one in and around the state poll all year.

This will be a good game. Hopefully Hiland wins but having seen South Webster a few times, Jeep fans have reason to be confident and optimistic.
