Here is the SOC divisons as we speak
Soc II
Waverly
Northwest
West
Minford
Wheelersburg
Soc I
Valley
South Webster
Eastern
Clay
Here is what i think it should be during the season
Waverly
Northwest
South Webster
Minford
Wheelersburg
Valley
West
Eastern
Clay
New Boston
Now if you don't notice, I have only changed 2 teams(South Webster and West)
I say that because i think that all the powerhouses in our region should be in one divison, and the lighthouses should be in another. I mean Waverly, Minford, and Burg are always having a battle for the title in Soc II. But every year in Soc I, It's always South Webster. I think that they should trade divisons with SW and West. I think this would be more fair to the Schools, Coaches, Parents, and Players. And personally, i would love to see this happen because i would want to see who would win Soc I and Soc II, and if the team that won could repeat the next year.
WHAT DO YOU THINK??
NEW SOC I, SOC II???

I cannot agree with this change more, unfortunately the divisions are determined by the size of the school and not the skill of the teams. Plus, it would make a tougher schedule for these teams which would only prepare them more for tournament time.

Re: NEW SOC I, SOC II???
Would be cool to see but you cant divide the conference up between who we think are the good teams and bad teams. Just look at what happened with south webster in basketball season. Picked at the bottom of everyones list and now may end up 2nd in the soc2. Best thing to do in my opinion is combine the leagues back into 1 like it was before.
Re: NEW SOC I, SOC II???
Size of the school is the factor of where teams are placed but whether or not they have a football team should also be taken into consideration. Look at SW with 115 or so boys and no football. Take all the SOCII schools who have around 150 boys with football, and you would think that would leave them about even, except that for the most part you lose your best athletes to football. Imagine what kind of team Waverly, Minford, Valley or the Burg could put on the pitch if they didn't have football.

I say play a single table - one game vs each team in the league. That way half your season is locked in for league. Crown one champion.
Play one year at home, the next away. It can be difficult to schedule, but it definitely doable.
