Sounds like two good, entertaining SOC games. I look for Waverly to beat Minford. Minford always plays hard but I think Waverly has too much for Minford to shut down.

I look for the Burg and Minford game to be very close and entertaining. This will be a fast paced, back-and-forth game. Look for a lot of quick counter attempts in this one.

I am hoping for Waverly to win against Minford and Minford to win against Wheelersburg. I believe that Waverly can win. Both games will be important and very exciting. Go Waverly Tigers.

Minford keeps coming up one goal short. I expect them to come out on top against the Burg.

Very intense game by 2 strong teams. Minford was up 2-0 at half. Waverly came back and got a goal before a 45 minute lightning delay. Waverly tied the game 2-2 after play resumed. Minford took the lead 3-2 and then Waverly scored twice to win 4-3. Waverly outshot Minford 23-14. Shots on goal Waverly 18 Minford 9.

minfords defense was pretty successful by staying back. burg couldn't really play the long ball over the top, but they did work it down the sides pretty well. It seemed like minford had more shots and their defense played better than Burgs. Didn't see much midfield on either team.

I saw it much differently as far as the midfield play. Minfords midfield is what I thought saved the day for them, Keeping the ball off the feet of jarvis and lewis. The Huff boy from minford kept burgs def very nervous with his speed, he was marked to no avail.

good game overall. minford plays hard. great set play at start of second half. burg back on their heels. burg line-up is expected but needs changed. their line up at times is like playing "two men down". blind allegiance to seniors may win you points at practice but gets you beat in big soc games. look forward to the rematch. should be fun.
