The South Webster v. Waverly game time has been pushed back to 4pm to allow more time for students taking the ACT that day.

Should be a good game. These two teams usually match up pretty well.

anxious to see how this one turns out. sw has a lot of good things going for them from what i saw last night. but im not sure it's enough to beat the tigers. they will definitely need to create more chances if they want to win this one. i dont see waverly being held to any less than 2 goals

At first I thought this was a u15 with a 4:00 game time. Don't they have lights at Waverly's field??? This early of a start the tigers still might be a little groggy after watching friday night lights on their home field and the jeeps still should be riding high after their shut out at the BURG last night. I see the jeeps finding their mark with a 3-2 win and that number 6 kid going crazy like he did last night...

Both teams are excellent on defense(Waverly .67 GAA, Webster .4 GAA) but I think Waverly's explosiveness on the offensive end will notch them a goal and the win at home. Should be a great matchup.

I think Webster is going to be running high on the shutout they threw down at the BURG and Waverly might be sleeping on the jeeps abilities thinking that this is going to be a walk with this explosive offense of theirs...Websters D will be up to the task and with number 6 running wild up front..I see a 2-1 Jeeps win.

The SOC's finest (in my opinion) go to battle in Saturdays match. Too close to pick a score or winner. I'm rooting for the Jeeps.

I concur. SOCs best programs of late. I'll take waverly 2-0. Too many weapons and skilled soccer players find the net vs. a well coached jeep squad. Waverly probably the team to beat for a few more years

This game hinges on if Willie Bevens plays for the Tigers...Bevens in my opinion is the Best defensive player in the area and is sound in all areas. Bevens sat out Tues when the Tigers traveled to Circleville...from what I heard it was precautionary. The choice of words says the Tigers will be "hungover from Friday" is a very poor choice of words.

oh gzz not a good match up for Jeeps today. Waverly has some TALENT!! 1-nil in favor of the Tigres if the pitch dries in time. If the pitch is still wet I'll take the Jeeps 2-1

Why do they say bad field conditions favor the less skilled team?

It's a different ball game on a sloppy pitch that even your more skilled players have trouble dealing with certain bounces and slick conditions where as the less skilled already have trouble dealing with the ball. Just evens the playing field I believe. That's why I'd say JuanMorales made his prediction as he did

Waverly 4-1

Good win by the Tigers dominating possession of the ball and controlling the pace...SW tried to play their defense back and pack the box which explains their low scores against. But the Tigers scored early and forced the Jeeps to push forward which opened them for counter attacks by the faster and more athletic Tigers. Sure am glad the Tigers did not have the hangover from Friday night and that the field conditions were not worse or I am sure it would have been different. hahaha

Game was miles closer than the score says it is. Terrible game by SW they played pretty soft. Waverly seemed to win every 50/50 ball and was very aggressive. Pitch was in decent shape surprisingly, it's normally pretty rough. Waverly was able to possess well but was bailed out by the ref with the PK call. No hangover for the tigers. Solid team this year. As for the Jeeps hopefully they play better than they did today or else their shot at another SOC title could be in jeopardy. Must play better

Shots were 21 Waverly 6 Webster, with 17 and 2 on goal.
PK was on a player taken down from behind 6yds from goal.
Tigers should have been up 4-0 at half. Best perfomance of the year for Waverly thus far! Far and away a very dominating 80 minutes.
