Jeeps won the first 2-0. Game might be a little different under the lights at Minford this time.

Webster played well the first time around, but will have to play even better to get the same result at Minford. We'll see if home field advantage for the Falcons will be enough to tip the scales in their favor.

The game should start around 8pm. There is a partial girls jv and full varsity game before the boys game.

So, if I want to make the U12 girls game be there around 3:15???I should make it home by say 1:30 a.m.???after it's all said and done??? Someone must be joking about all the games and the times it's a school night not a Saturday game.

Wow that is a pretty late kickoff time. AD must not have thought that one through. I'm all for 2 or 3 or 4 birds with one stone, but a Saturday would've been a better choice. Should be a good game tho. I think the Falcons will pull this one out 2-1.

Will the falcons be soaring with home field advantage or will they be grounded by the fiericom 4 back line of the jeeps anchored by the wingspan of an eagle goalie swordz....I see that home field advantage will play a key role and the jeeps aren't use to playing under the lights....jeeps 2 minford 1

Question is can either team create a goal. Most of goals this year have been defensive errors and not efficient offense. Will be fun to watch.

I see the long throw being a huge weapon and corners...

Basketball games start at 7:30 and they could always have overtime.

RXBF, is right. so many teams start their strength from the top and move back. sw, starts with the keeper and moves up to the d. i agree with the old saying, defense wins championships. we just need to get soccer in this area to realize that.

Games are a lot more fun to watch when more goals are scored. GOALS GOALS GOALS!! However 1-nil in favor of Bloom-Vernon tonight in this match

if we just looked at defenses I'd take Webster in second! while i agree with some earlier posts that state the build up needs to come from the back I don't think SW can score consistently. I like Minford's ability to get wide and produce service into the box. I think this may stretch out SW and open up some chances for Minford to put one or two in the back of the net. Doesn't hurt that it's under the Minford lights! Good luck to both squads.

Unless minford gets healthy very quickly they will strugle. According to my west informant, coach Gampps son went out with an injury and thier best player was a no show ( injury, illness ???). The good freshmen ( #1) is a threat but without backup could be a long night for Minford offensively and based on the scores i have seen for minford the def is likely to allow a goal or two at least. Webster is tough, relentless and physical no stand out players individualy but great team cohesion!!!

A lot of defensive errors and not much efficient offense in this one. What a squeaker, whistles were swallowed at the end. I couldn't have called a hand ball in the box for a PK with 8 sec left either. It is always horrible to make a call for a game changing PK in my opinion. Falcons were ready to play in this one, I think if they get everyone healthy look out!!!

Not to take anything away from Minford bc they probably did deserve to score a goal but not that way. The referees phantom hand ball call on SW made from 50 yds away from the play was..wow I don't even know. At a loss of words honestly about that call. Just doesn't make any sense. But then misses a blatant hand ball on Minford in the box at the end right in front of him?? Hmm something's not right. I understand not calling a hand ball in the final seconds and I'd be fine if he hadn't called that mysterious hand ball on SW. But the call should have been made. Again not taking anything away from Minford, they played well, but that result was "handed" to them
