Southeast is very interesting! Possible dog fight type matchups throughout the bracket! Burg @ sp rd 2 should be great, as well as the possible minford vs zt match, belpre vs alexander is also interesting to me! Should be alot of fun to watch in a couple of weeks! Just hope everyone comes in clicking on all cylinders and fully healthy!

East seeds in order: Hiland, West Muskingum, Coshocton, Steubenville CC, Rosecrans, Caldwell, Monroe Central.
Based on your predictions the other 2 games on 10/27 will be:
South Webster vs West Muskingum/Coshocton winner
Valley vs Hiland/Steubenville Catholic winner

You have done fairly well but you missed that Peebles wins this time around...

There's nothing wrong with missing on one or two! I'll be making sure that I am in attendance for that game(if it happens, of course)

I too was surprised at this one. However, maybe we can get a better picture of alexander if the ohsaa would take redcard's advice and have shootouts. Alexander struggles to score, so i can see how a bit flashier team like sw draws the 1 seed. but im predicting sw loses to St. Joe, so haha jeeps

I guess it is getting a little ahead of ourselves. One game at a time. It is much easier to look ahead when you have nothing on the table but cheering for your home team or picks!

alexander trouble scoring goals?? 33 goals this yr....dont think people give enough credit to how stingy many of the teams we've faced defense are!

Alexander started off the year with a really easy schedule with the exception of South Webster (who they beat, I still don't get SW getting the #1). From there, they had one of the hardest schedules I've seen a DIII team have from this area. This is an Athens guy (their rivals) saying this about Alexander, by the way. As alexandersoccer said, they've played some tough defenses: #1 seed Unioto, #2 seed Warren, Athens (we've given up a total of 8 goals in 10 games to southeastern teams) and others. I'd say Alexander's strength would be their offense, but they certainly have good goalkeeping and defending. Take Alexander lightly at your own peril, DIII. I think they'll do well now that they get to play teams in their own division. They'll need to get their confidence back after not winning since mid-September, but Alexander certainly won't be surprised by anybody in DIII after their tough schedule. At least they'll be an example of the debate of what prepares a team better for the tourney: an easy/medium schedule with lots of wins or a darn tough schedule with much fewer wins, but better experience.

Alexander is a very gritty team this year and they will for sure make some noise in Tournaments. I feel #1 seed could have gone either way. SW did beat Jackson and Athens. Tough call. Goodluck to both teams, I'd like to see a rematch down the tourney road.
