Wheelersburg vs New Boston

Post by rxburgfan »

Good come back win for tigers to advance. Rain could slow down speed of play to help tigers, but depth of bench gives pirates second half legs. Creating scoring opportunities been challenging for young burg team last several games. Playing on turf hard to adjust for tigers. Hoping for dry seats for the fans. Tourney time. Who can find the back of the net more than the other?

The winner of this game moves on to district play at Jackson this Saturday @ 4:00 vs the Belpre/Southeastern winner.

I see the Tigers sneaking out of Wheelersburg with a win....4-3 barn burner!

The only teams to score that many goals against Burg this year are Waverly and Zane Trace......New Boston is NOT nearly as good as either of them....

I agree, they're way better.

New Boston 4
Burg 2

Wake up D4. Tigers won't get 4 goals but can get 2. 2-1 can win this either way. Anything can happen. Better on turf than in the mud.

D4 obviously hasn't seen many soccer games outside of Scioto Co. Looks like some rain may be moving in during the game tonight. Wet turf can make for some very odd skips!
