SW should have an easy time with this one, but playing on the outfield is never easy. I agree SW will win, but I would guess 4-1

Clay's field is over the hill, if the grass hasn't been mowed it should slow the game down. Zimmurman puts this one away early. Kayton feeds off of this field he scores in bunches there probably has to do with baseball and soccer combined. I agree with jeep lic score 6-1.

Re: South Webster @ Clay
where was game played? panthers must have played really well. with 3 goals sw must have tried to score because they gave up 3. they can't score and defend.
Re: South Webster @ Clay
As coach at Clay, I have to admit I know very little about soccer. What I do know is that tonight's tie game with South Webster was as big as any win in recent Panther history. It proved to me and I hope our kids and fans we are turning a corner to improving to a competitive soccer program. I am so proud of the team, they deserved it. Now it's time to get the entire community on board to make this common place, not a once in a while thing.

Re: South Webster @ Clay
Clay Panthers 3, South Webster Jeeps 3
Goals By Half,........... 1....... 2.......... Final
South Webster Jeeps ..3....... 0........... 3
Clay Panthers ...........1....... 2........... 3
Scoring summary: 1st Half: SW -- #6 Keaton, Kyle (unassisted), 0:32; SW -- #5 Zimmerman, Shane (#4 Blevins, Alek), 1:00; C -- #16 Collier, Jordan (unassisted), 3:00; SW -- #5 Zimmerman, Shane (#2 Fuller, Denver and #11 Coriell, Trevor), 5:10. 2nd Half: C -- #21 Pelphrey, Mason (#12 Curley, Shannon), 47:55; C -- #21 Pelphrey, Mason (unassisted), 65:47.
Shots: SW 28, C 8. Saves: #11 Coriell, Trevor (SW) 4; #27 Gleason, Michael (C) 13. Corner kicks: SW 10, C 2. Fouls: SW 5, C 5. Offsides: SW 1, C 1.
Clay didn't quit the entire game and they have some good players on that team. I don't think South Webster quit either. That's just the way the game went.

Re: South Webster @ Clay
This tie makes the rematch between NB and SW a little more interesting. NB can play for a tie and share the SOCI title with the Jeeps.
Re: South Webster @ Clay
Will Clay be able to keep their momentum and upset the Jeeps for the sectional title?
Re: South Webster @ Clay
can clay defend? that is the question. sw has hard time scoring and dont expect that to change as tourney begins. clay will struggle to score because sw can defend. who can hold off the other will win.

Very interesting match it's hard to beat a team three times in one season. I'd say the team with the most goals pulls off the victory!!!

Well, its a good thing for the Jeeps that they have only beaten Clay once this season!Red Ridding Hood wrote:Very interesting match it's hard to beat a team three times in one season. I'd say the team with the most goals pulls off the victory!!!

I just hope the Jeeps don't look past the Panthers...Setting their eyes for a big match-up against lynchburg...I don't see that happening after the embarrassment of the loss against Clay the last time... I see the Jeeps crushing the panthers and sending them home....6-1
