Which side of the bracket is ATHENS 1 and which is ATHENS 2?

For D3 it looks like the Wheelersburg #1 seed bracket plays the East team and the winner goes on to regionals

The Lynchburg #1 and Alexander #1 seed brackets funnel in to play each other and then go on to regionals.

The D2 bracket on the seodab website has no markings that I can see to indicate which group is Logan 1 and which is Logan 2.

I'd also really like to hear the process for how this is determined. As everybody probably knows, it makes a big difference.

But, which section of the bracket in DIII is Athens 1? And which is Athens 2?

Because they then play central 1 and Central 2... Then would meet up in the regional finals!!

Derp! Yes, you are absolutely right. Same problem as with the D2 brackets. Should be made clear on the brackets but it isn't.

There is a meeting that the SEODAB holds in Aug. Which the SE District President is part of to do the drawing for which bracket goes to which regional. Then have a drawing to put the east and west or how ever it is broken down into the bracket.

Right now they don't seem to be indicating which part of the bracket is Logan1/2 or Athens 1/2. Unless the top listing is supposed to be 1 and the bottom 2?

If that is the case though, how do they decide that south 1 goes on top and north 1 goes on bottom. Was that determination made back in August and what was the process? Who supervised that and who was present?

So they had a drawing Sunday and that was when they determined for D2 that:

Logan 1 was South 1/North 4/North 2/South 3

Logan 2 was North 1/South 4/South 2/North 3

Do you happen to know who attends that meeting and how the drawing is done?

Looking at the OHSAA website for the state wide bracket Lynchburg and Alexander group is 2 and Wheelersburg is 1. Yes that is determined during the August meeting. During the meeting they have the bracket without any North or South, East or West and choose which side of the bracket will go to where. It is a blind drawling. Then after that has been done then they do the same for the North and South. Which is how they decided which side they are put into.

It isn't like we they said ok lets make North go to the central and South go to East. Just the way the drawling went.

You have the Southeast District Board Members that are there. With the President of the Board being the Supervisor and then the President of the Southeast District for Soccer is present.

Thanks for the info. So for the D2 brackets are we supposed to just assume that Logan 1 has South #1 Athens and Logan 2 has North #1 Circleville? It's not explicitly stated anywhere and they might want to clear that up with an update.

That is correct Athens side will play Central District and Circleville side winner will play the East. It is on the OHSAA website.

I was able to find it under the Central district tab. If you go onto the OHSAA website then click on the Tournament information and Qualifying Forms. Under the Tournament Site Assignments is the Central tab Click on that. Then click on state wide tournament bracket. Then you'll see all the division broken down into each region.
