This win just muddies the waters for seeding. Going into this game, Westfall was 1-7-1 and SE was 7-5. Did SE play a much easier schedule? I was thinking SE should be a 7-10 seed and Westfall should be a 15 or so seed, but now it looks otherwise. Also, SE gave Rock Hill (8-1-2) their only loss of the season last week and turn around and lose to a 1 win team. I know RH plays a really soft schedule, but it all just doesn't add up.
When I was on my way to the game last night, I was thinking that it would be a closer game than thought because of the schedule difference between the two. But, after the first few minutes (and before Westfall even scored) it was very obvious who the better team was.4thgoal wrote: Tue Oct 06, 2020 7:18 amThis win just muddies the waters for seeding. And Westfall’s doesn’t have Unioto’s adjusted 8-3-1 on there’s eitherFalcon01 wrote: Tue Oct 06, 2020 10:23 am Southeasterns adjusted opponent record 46-68
Westfalls adjusted opponent record 45-48
Rock Hills adjusted opponent record 19-43
Why unioto doesn't post on ossca makes no sense to me. Such an awesome tool, and one of the top programs in the area not using it is annoying to me. I love ossca and so should everyone else lol.danicalifornia wrote: Tue Oct 06, 2020 1:42 pmAnd Westfall’s doesn’t have Unioto’s adjusted 8-3-1 on there’s eitherFalcon01 wrote: Tue Oct 06, 2020 10:23 am Southeasterns adjusted opponent record 46-68

I watched Westfall earlier this year. I won't speak to necessarily the caliber of their own schedule and how that compares to Southeastern's. But, Westfall has played some opponents that really get after it, are fast and very physical.danicalifornia wrote: Tue Oct 06, 2020 7:59 amWhen I was on my way to the game last night, I was thinking that it would be a closer game than thought because of the schedule difference between the two. I really don’t know how the seeding will go because of something like this result. It’s not like a 1 goal win where you might consider the teams somewhat equal still, this was a throttling.
I agree. I saw Westfall on film, but not in person until Monday. You could tell that they had played teams who played at a faster pace and had taken that strategy themselves.formerfcfan wrote: Tue Oct 06, 2020 8:46 pmI watched Westfall earlier this year.
