Much appreciated a_c_m!!! I know there's not many people posting on here, but let's try to updated this as much as possible. I'll help with Athens. After last night's game, we are now 8-1-3

Thanks for the correction! I had Fairland listed as Fairfield. Fairfield is D3.

Was a busy mid-week stretch for Athens.

Tue 10/4
Athens 6
Gallia 0

Wed 10/5
Athens 1
ZT 1

Thur 10/6
Athens 3
Minford 2

Minford was awarded 3 PK's in the game  with Athens goalie making outstanding saves on 2 of them. Would have loved to have the 3-0 sweep, but 2-0-1 on 3 straight nights is a solid result. Bulldogs record stands at 11-1-4 with one more regular season game left against Chillicothe next week.

That was a brutal stretch— three 10+ win matchups in three days?

Brutal indeed. The ZT game was supposed to be the week prior, but there were no officials, so we dropped it in between Gallia and Minford which makes no sense. Both ZT and Minford were on the road, concluding a bizarre and loooooong road schedule for the Bulldogs. Should have known things would be crazy when our first road contest of the year in Marietta ended up an 8-3 beatdown for our only loss. To rub salt in the wound, on the way home, the bus broke down about 15 minutes outside of Marietta. Team had to wait on the bus for a new driver/bus to be secured in Athens, then wait for said bus to get down there. In the end, my son walked into the house after 1:00 am, and this was the night before the first day of school! 2+ hour Hillsboro road trip on a school night. Multiple road games, kids getting back to the high school after 11:00 on school nights. As I said, just a bizarre bus season.
Back to scores, Athens beat Chillicothe 6-2 last night to complete the regular season at 12-1-4
