DD, xagle, said The Eagles went to Harvest Prep for a scrimmage, yesterday, and beat all comers. Don't know the format or the other teams.

How is the rest of the TVC hocking looking? Any stand out teams or players?

Huntington, Zane Trace, Shekinah Christian, Harvest Prep, Lodon, and Teay Valley.

Don't know what you heard, but Huntington vs. Eastern was very tight game with Huntington winning by a point. Also, did not see the game, but would be suprised if they beat Shekinah Christian... they were BY FAR, the class of the field.

Eastern beat Huntington to the game of 25 and they played for a few min afterward. Eastern beat Shekinah also and Hamilton who is not on the list you have. Eastern played 7 and won 7.

Shekinah Christian is a perineal force in the Southest Region Div 4 volleyball. Eastern vs SC in the region semi-final last season,was the most exciting match that the Eagles had all season.

The TVC Hocking"s 2012 season will again be dominated by Eastern with Waterford being their only real competition.

Next Saturday, the Eagles will defend their Athens Tournament domination. They will be going for their fourth victory in four years.

Tonight was the Meigs Co. Preview in Racine. Hey MiddleC, how did that go?

Eastern looked very pedestrian against Southern. Maybe playing down to the competition a little?

Cobweb- We played Meigs and Southern. Won both, if you can say that for a preview. Played well against Meigs. Played mediocre at best against Southen. Off night I guess. The girls have done well this summer. Won the Kings Island tournament and did well at Harvest Prep last week. Should be a good year. Some things need tweaked. Several with little or no varsity experience. They should hopefully do well in the league. Hope you and DD can come watch!

Eastern returns senior setter Ally Hendrix and juniors Maddie Rigsby, Erin Swatzel and Jordan Parker. With the addition of 6 ft junior Katie Keller, they look to be taking up where last years team left off. Things are looking bright for Eastern Eagle Volleyball!
