Cap'n, wish the best of luck and fortune to Warren and all the area teams as they go into tourney time!!
My volleyball watching/judging skills, limited as they are, indicate that Wildcat volleyball is not the same as we saw at the Athens tournament. That day the Warriors lost to Eastern in a three game match before taking Waterford in straight sets. Last night, the Wildcats over Eastern in four and they seemed to be getting stronger as the hour got later. My bet is that it will take a good game plan and great execution from any Southeast District D4 or Lancaster Region school to beat them in the tournament.

And the same for the Eastern Beaver Team. It's going to take a great team to knock them out of tournaments this season. They were Regional Runner-up last season and are a better team, with more height than any Eastern team I have ever seen.

I agree..... Eastern Beaver is tough. They have a strong and tall team. They also have very smart players who have played the game for a while. Didn't they beat Waterford in Districts last year in 3?

I predict Eastern Beaver and Tusky Central Catholic in Reg. Final match up again!

I believe most teams have improved drastically since the early season...Warren included. I wish Waterford the best in the upcoming post season as I do have a passing interest in their team.

I will guess Eastern Beaver and Waterford makes it to Regionals, and Eastern plays Tusky CC in the Regional-finals. But best of luck to all teams!

Marietta over Philo today in three. 22-0 !!
Very hard to do don't care who you play. No apologies to anyone, you beat every team you faced.
Apparently many aren't impressed so you won without playing well.

SEOAL Champs!!

Marietta will be a handful for anyone if they continue to play well in the back row and get the ball to their setters. With that front line they will put the ball down if given the chance. Would love to see a 3rd installment between the Tigers and Lady Warriors. That means someone from Washington County will advance to the Regional.

If any DII makes it to the Regionals out of the SEOAL, TVC, or the SCOL, it is quite an accomplishment. Be proud of that & play hard! Good luck to all teams in all divisions!

I would say Washington C.H. is pretty strong this year.

If it plays out it could be a very good match with Warren down the road. Warren is also one of the better teams I have seen this year.

I think most people would have to agree with that, wch125, as they're only 20-2 and ranked 13th in the coaches poll. I also agree it would be a good match up with Warren should both teams win.

now that Districts are over, we see who really is some of the best. Eastern Beaver stomped all over Eastern Reedsville. Waterford put away a young South Webster team in 5. Adena and Alexander both swept their opponents, and Wheelersburg fell to Huntington Ross in 3. And then I know Washington CH advanced in D2. Not sure
