That's fine Dani go with the two shades of Blue and U can stay there for all I care.
I Â will stay true to my school and go with the young ladies of the U "That Stuck With It".
You do know several left our volleyball program as well, hence we are senior less.
It's ok, I have heard all the excuses.Â
Like I'm sure the Adena faithful has heard theirs.
One thing is for sure come Tuesday night two very good volleyball teams are going to light it up in Frenchtown "like NO other fall sport can" with players that want to be there and could easily best ALL of those that "didn't stick with it".Â

Moving On
SVC match-ups for Tuesday, October 9thÂ
Adena @ UniotoÂ
Huntington @ SoutheasternÂ
Paint Valley @ Zane TraceÂ
Piketon @ Westfall
On the tourney trail it looks like all the SVC schools get to start the tournament on their home courts. With Huntington, ZT, receiving #1 seeds. Adena is  2, all in Division 3. Westfall a 3, and the U pulled a fourth seed in Division 2.
It would be the District finals before Westfall and Unioto meet up again.
In D3
It looks like Huntington could face Paintvalley if the bearcats win their first round match-up. From there it will be clear SVC sailing till the regionals
ZT should face SouthEastern in the sectional finals then the winner of that will hopefully face Piketon in the first round of District play.
Adena will be clear of any SVC opponent till a possible district final against Trace, S.E. or Piketon.
Kind of crazy but the Pioneers trail could be all SVC schools till the Regionals.......
Hopefully we can get Three league teams to the Regionals, and Two to the State.

Re: The SVC at the Turn
Nelsonville York and Alexander are both very good. I can see a helluva matchup with NY vs Huntington . Throw in Adena vs Alexander and that also will be a dandy. That winner will face ZT wow.

The first 15-20 minutes of our podcast show this week is all SVC volleyball. We look back at last week - including an interview with Huntington's Tina Magill - and then look ahead to the final week of play. Here is the link...

Great win for the Shermans in Frenchtown over the Warriors. Z T gets a share of the title for the first time since the late 1980"s...wow. ZT goes to Frankfort with a chance to go solo , while Westfall visits Huntington. Two nice games Thursday.
Re: The SVC at the Turn
Rewrite.......
Unioto won in 5
Unioto easily controlled the first set
And the score of the second set should have been
A wider spread but it seemed to me and my purple hazed glasses
every close call was going Adena's way.
Sets 3 and 4 belonged to the Warriors as the
Sherman's were playing a little deflated after a warning of a yellow card.
Adena was well in control of the 5th set up 8-1 when the Sherman's
Decided they were not going down with out a fight.  A few 2 for 1 point exchanges then a 3 or 4 point exchange for 1 and the Sherman's found themselves with a side out trailing the Warriors  10 to 13.
Neff served out to win the set 15 to 13
In what was the most nerve racking 5 serves of the season.
Two time outs by Adena
A strange substitution by Unioto that delayed play
And of course Match Point.
I don't know for sure what the official stats are but Neff was perfect serving with around 30 attempts and close to 6 aces on the night.Â

Unioto in three straight over Paint Valley tonight.
Anna Karr played awesome front row both blocking and attacking. And was spot on serving for the Sherman's.Â
Tori Cox likewise played a very good game and her improvement in only her 2nd year of organized ball is simply amazing, I'm very pleased to have her on the roster and a great addition to this club.
A big congratulations to our Reserve team, winning the SVC title tonight.
The volleyball future is most certainly bright in Frenchtowne.
Thanks to ALL our Volleyball players for a great and fun season!
