Waverly really worked a lot of kids into the rotation last night. It seemed to work pretty well. And boy does Wheelersburg have some big girls! The one girl looked to be well over 6 foot to me. But kinda hard to tell from the stands. It will be interesting when we travel to Wheelersburg.

Lots of big games left for both teams. I honestly don't know much about the seedings and how that works. Other than Waverly still has lots of league games left and also Unioto and Chillicothe which will be challenging match-ups.

Minford defeated Northwest at home 25-23, 23-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-11.
Worth the price of admission for both schools fan base.

Does anyone have the league standings? I'm wondering if there is somewhere online we could see them? Any newspapers list the standings? Sure would be nice to see everyone's league and overall record.

I saw the game last night. The Tigers look strong.Wigit and Martin are playing very well.I remember now who the other starter they lost from last year was.It was Kelsey Mays.Considering they lost three starters to graduation and one to transfer they haven't missed a beat.

Thanks for the link Esully63! Interesting to see the record of all the SOC schools.

Panther: They really have played well. Hope they finish strong as there are several big challenges over the next couple of weeks. Should be fun :)

Waverly sweeps another apparent weak schedule opponent in the SOC 2 in NW.I don't care who you are, if you sweep (in sets) your entire league so far that's saying something.Go ahead and not respect Waverly come tourney time...I can tell you this, most that do will go home with an L.

Agreed BP, anytime you can roll your conference in straight sets is an impressive feat. Waverly was well disciplined defensively against us early in the year and I am sure that has only improved. Only fear would be not having to play in tight games could hurt them some in the tourney. They will be tough and they will have home court advantage through the sectionals most likey.

I again ask the question, why don't they have a county tournament in Pike anymore? Eastern has been good for several years and this would give Waverly another good opponent on their schedule. Just like OSU in football, until you play good competition and beat them you get no respect. Find some teams to play that are better than you and compete. It only makes you better.

Waverly actually lost a set in SOC 2 play tonight. They still beat the Burg in four none the less.I still think that's pretty amazing. You lose just one set during your entire league schedule.Wow!
