Should be interesting to see what tournament seeding Jackson gets with a 15-3 record, and if they can make a run to the districts.

Jackson is 15-3 and drew the No. 3 seed in the Division II sectional draw. They will host Warren on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. with the winner moving on to the sectional final.

The Ironladies host Portsmouth tonight (10/6) for Senior Night with seniors Sharissa Cooper, Danielle Miller and Lauren Bragg being honored.

This trio has been part of a combined 51 varsity wins and counting over three years and 65 varsity wins and counting over four years.

They will travel to either Zanesville or Warren for the third-place match on Saturday in the SEOAL DOC. They will play the losing team of tonight's Zanesville-Warren match, which is for the North first-place.

Ironladies defeat Trojans in 3, will now face a tuff Warren squad on Saturday and next Wednesday in tourney play. Jackson is now 16-3 on the year......I agree that the seeding in the tourney was difinitely HOSED.......How could the Ironladies be ahead of Chilly, who beat us 3 times??????????????????

You also have Athens hosting and ahead of Warren, and Warren beat Athens twice. I believe Jackson beat Unioto too, and Unioto is the top seed. The Divsion II sectional seeding is more complicated than the BCS.

I am the Chillicothe coach and made an honest mistake with the time of the meeting. I arrived too late to vote and was dealt the seed that you now see. We are not going to bash anybody and will just go out and play and let the chips fall where they may. Its not that i didnt bother to show up at the meeting. If you knew me you would know that i am passionate about the kids and volleyball and would not take the meeting for granted. Honest mistake, honest reply. Good luck to all and enjoy the tournament.

Ironladies downed the Warren Lady Warriors in 5 very evenly matched games. Ironladies won games 1 & 2 while Warren came back in games 3 & 4. Jackson took game five in a seesaw battle ending with a Jackson victory of 22-20. A big note that in each of the Jackson wins, the Ironladies rallied back from a six point difference ....A great victory for the Jackson program, this marks the first win over Warren in four years, if not longer. Hats off to the Lady Warriors and coaching staff who never seemed to lose heart even after being down 2 games, your program has everything to be proud of...
