VCAP Fitness & Training
We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with USA Volleyball to run a series of Volleyball Conditioning Accreditation Program (VCAP) courses. The course counts as two modules towards the Coach Acreditation Program (CAP) run by USA Volleyball.
Target audience: The VCAP clinics are designed for those who have major responsibility for the conditioning of their volleyball teams, without access to a weight room.
Length: 3-4 hours.
Content presented/approach: These half day clinics are sponsored by USA Volleyball, USA Volleyball's Sports Medicine and Performance Commission (SMPC), Performance Conditioning for Volleyball and 24 Hour Fitness. Emphasis is on conditioning teams without a weight room. The hands-on topics covered in the course include exercises for both on and off court conditioning, court movement, evaluation, individualization, testing jump improvement, over-training and injury prevention.
For more details, also visit the Performance Conditioning for Volleyball web site.
All courses are run by Jeanne Colpus, USAV CAP Level III coach and USAV Master VCAP Instructor.
